About the Rise Up NYC Concert Series
Rise Up NYC was launched in 2022 as a city-led initiative to bring communities together through the power of music in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. Spearheaded by Mayor Eric Adams, the series was designed to uplift New Yorkers, support local artists, and provide free, high-quality concerts in all five boroughs. Since its debut, Rise Up NYC has grown into a highly anticipated summer tradition, celebrating the city’s resilience, diversity, and vibrant culture—one concert at a time.
